My theory is that hearing about other people’s daily joys and dreams makes you think more about your own and sometimes you might even feel connected or get inspired. That’s why I created 6 questions that I am continually going to ask different people, in order to keep good vibes and dreams flowing through this magazine.
What is your favorite moment in your everyday?
I think it is very important to enjoy the small things in our everyday, because these days are what we have most of.
I am certain that we all have favorite moments we treasure every day that we may or may not be aware of. It might be when you look at your sleeping child (or dog) or having that moment to yourself whether it’s with the morning coffee before the rest of the house awakes, taking a shower or in the car commuting to work.
What does your perfect weekend look like?
Some of us prefer slow weekends with a lot of relaxation while others prefer experiencing as much as possible.
I think we are more likely to plan perfect weekends if we take the time to figure out what the perfect weekend actually is… Not in the eyes of others but from our own point of view.
What do you dream of doing?
Without dreams we quickly get lost in our everyday doings and ultimately it might make us forget who we are. If we don’t dream we are in a risk of losing the excitement of life. The possibilities of life gets narrowed down.
One day we might find ourselves dreaming someone else’s dream because we forgot our own. The problem with dreaming someone else’s dream is that if it actually comes true – you may not feel fulfilled at all. Like ending up on the twelfth floor in a luxury hotel when what you really needed was to dig your feet into the ground.
I hope this question will ignite some sparks, keeping the dreams alive.
What are you excited about at the moment?
The dreams might take some time to fulfill… Therefore it’s just as important to have something you are excited about in the present or near future.
What does your dream vacation look like?
When going on a vacation, instead of just ordering whatever to get away – why not spend some time reflecting on, what kind of vacation you would actually enjoy the most?
The dreamy version instead of the mainstream or practical version… Maybe you are not able to afford the dream vacation but reflecting before just ordering, will always help you make it a bit more dreamy – a bit more what you actually want a vacation to look like.
When do you feel most alive?
Are we living or are we surviving? It’s so important to make room for the things that makes us feel alive so we don’t miss out on actually living…
It might just be a morning dip in the ocean or it could be spending time with those you love. But I think it’s worth giving some thought into when you feel most alive, in order to bring more of that vibrant energy into your life.
There you have it. A little rundown of why I chose these 6 questions. Does it make sense to you? Do you think I left something important out? Let me know your thoughts…
